Charles u0026 Charles Post No. 35 Red Wine Blend is a 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Syrah blend with tremendous purity, depth and focus. Soulful, bold and true, this dry red wine brings together aromas of black cherry and blackberry, with earthy, savory notes of tobacco, herbs, vanilla and cocoa. It has a full mouthfeel with a long, supple finish and elegant, refined tannins. This dry red wine earned 92 points from James Suckling. Open a bottle of this bold, textured Cabernet wine to serve with bruschetta, a cheese plate or steak. Washington grapes in this dry red blend wine are sourced from 17 amazing growers across the Columbia Valley, with High River and Goose Ridge being the principal growers. All of the Syrah is fermented whole cluster in stainless tanks with fermentations started with native yeasts that come from the vineyards. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested and fermented separately in stainless steel tanks with native yeast for both primary and secondary fermentations. Then, 50% of the wine is aged in neutral barrels to soften and concentrate the wine. This bottled wine has 14.1% alcohol by volume.
