REAL spicy chicken strips. *chef’s kiss*Not sure why these have such bad reviews. I assume it’s because people see the word “spicy” and associate it with things that really aren’t. Their mistake, not the product’s. But these are the best spicy chicken strips anywhere and for cheap. Yes, they are very spicy! They taste good with some ranch or honey. The kids and I love them and will continue to buy them for as long as Walmart stocks them.

Less “nice kick”, more “ruin your tomorrow” spicy!I remember eating at a Thai restaurant in college and when asked how spicy I wanted it from 1-10, silly me said 10. About 1/3 of the way through the dish, I started Lamaze breathing like a woman in childbirth to try and cool my mouth and was hooked! I’ve become a bit of a pepper head since and eat level 10 stuff on the regular. So when my wife bought this “spicy” chicken from Walmart, I just hoped it at least had a nice kick. I mean, let’s face it, “spicy” is a marketing term these days and usually equates to mild spice. Much to my chagrin, I snitched a piece off the baking sheet she’d finished cooking and was shocked. It was ACTUALLY SPICY! A couple of pieces in my quinoa bowl that night and I realized this is even approaching “ruin your today AND your tomorrow” kind of spicy, if you know what a mean… I’ve now downed 2 bags of this stuff and am in love. Inferno level heat I can rarely find from an off the shelf item. So, buyer beware!!!

Yes it’s hot but worth the pain.I’m going to give you the good, the bad, and the ugly of this chicken. The Good is the flavor. It is hands down the best, hottest, and most flavorful frozen chicken I’ve ever had. Very addicting. The Bad is it is hot, so hot. Not really bad though, I’m from Texas and can take the heat. lol Just dip it in some ranch and you’ll be alright. The Ugly is that it will burn going in and coming out if you know what I mean. Ouch but the flavor going in makes it worth it. You’ve been warned.

They’re Spicy HotI bought these on a whim of sorts. I thought maybe just maybe they’ll be hot. I broke out the Carolina ghost peppers to add some heat but i tried them first.
These little hidden jewels are spicy like a Mexican chili pepper. The taste is amazing but if spice heat bothers you these are not for you.
The spicy lovers buy these !!

Love these strips!!We ended up getting these as a substitution for the nonspicy ones a while back ago and thought these were going to be your typical “spicy” level aka not spicy in any way shape or form. We were wrong! These things are SPICY! Our entire family loved them and devoured them in seconds! We even use these strips in our hot chicken recipe for more heat!

These are amazingly hot! About time someone said something was spicy and it actually is. If tapatio or cholula is a hot sauce for you I’d stay away. People who enjoy habanero and hotter flavors this is for you. The heat is there from first bite and i couldn’t be more happy. Hats off to something labeled spicy cause they did a really good job. This product will be in my freezer from now until they make it for whips who don’t like heat!

Delicious and these are supposed to be Spicy!So many reviews bombing an item that says “Spicy” in the name for being…well… SPICY *insert surprised pikachu face”. These actually live up to the name for once and have much more heat than other chicken listed as spicy. This chicken makes some awesome chicken sandwiches!

Good… if you like stuff super extra spicyThese tenders are good, but too spicy to be eaten on a regular basis. They are easier to eat with sauce but still too spicy!

Too HOT, not enjoyable!Bought these thinking we’d have some spicy tenders or spicy chicken wraps for dinner one night. I was mistaken. These made my nose run after the first couple bites they’re so spicy! My kids and I both love spicy food (my kids taste hot sauces for fun). None of us could enjoy these though. I feel like they’re burning my digestive system as I type this… 😬 Beware they’re way spicier than you’re going to think they are. May be good for putting into a recipe with other ingredients to tone the heat down. The fact that the tenders look more red through the back side of the bag than the golden color on the label is clue number one. Heat matches the color on these things! The quality and breading seemed decent quality, that’s why they get 2 ⭐️.

HOTTER THAN THE SUN! DON’T DO IT!!Do you like being in pain while you eat; not only severe pain in your mouth, but also in your stomach? Do you like that pain to return but later when you’re on the toilet? Well these are the chicken strips for you. No amount of sauce will save you. You will be miserable for two days. I have a high tolerance for spice and these are just.. absolutely not! DON’T DO IT! If you think I’m being a wuss and you buy these anyway, please come back and read this while youre crying in pain. I tried to warn you. I’m so sorry you didn’t listen.
