This well-balanced red wine blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Alicante, Malbec and Syrah from six different appellations in California. Each sip showcases aromas of Bing cherries, strawberry fruit leather, brown sugar and cherry compote with notes of anise, clove and cedar. On the palate, bright red fruit flavors lead to smooth tannins and subtle acidity on the mid-palate with notes of vanilla on the long, delicate finish. Joel Gott Palisades red wine blend goes great with a grilled kimchi burger and french fries. Sourced from vineyards in Napa, Sonoma, Amador, Mendocino, Lake County and Lodi, this California wine reflects unique characteristics from each appellation. After fermentation, the wine was aged in one and two-year old American oak to complement the flavors and tannins of the wine and to soften the mid-palate.
