Ingredients

• 1 package of Nathan’s Famous Restaurant Style Hot Dog Buns
• 1 green pepper
• 1 red pepper
• 1 yellow onion
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp unsalted butter
• salt and pepper, to taste

Steps

1. Rinse the peppers, then cut off the top and bottom of each before cutting into thin strips lengthwise. Set aside in a small bowl.
2. Next, peel the onion, cut in half, and then cut into thin slices and place with peppers.
3. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter over medium heat.
4. Add the vegetables, sprinkle with desired amount of salt and pepper and saute for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until vegetables start to soften and turn golden brown.
5. Grill hot dogs until the meat reaches a brownish-red color throughout and is ready to be served.
