Safety Information: For single patient use only. Do not use if cap has been previously removed. The reuse of lancets will affect their safety, effectiveness, and comfort, and will expose users to unnecessary risks. Dispose of in a suitable sharps container. Improper use of blood lancets can increase the risk of inadvertent transmission of bloodborne pathogens, particularly in settings where multiple patients are tested.
Directions
Instructions for Use: Wash hands with soap and warm water. Pat hands dry. Twist off lancet cap. Insert lancet into lancing device. Select fingertip site slightly off-center to maximize comfort. Press device against finger and press release button. If necessary, massage finger tip to increase blood flow. Apply blood to test strip. Wipe finger with a soft tissue or dry cotton ball until bleeding stops. Dispose of entire lancet in a suitable sharps container. Discard properly in accordance with any local disposal ordinances where applicable.
